As new research projects are planned we will post them. Feel free to contact us with any research ideas!
We will continue to test fungicides for dollar spot and brown patch suppression. Fairy ring has eluded us in years past and the research trap will be set again in 2010. Products and ideas will also be tested on Waitea patch. Our variety trials had a great year in 2009 to establish and next year more evaluation will continue in creeping bentgrass, Kentucky bluegrass, and tall fescue.
In 2010 we plan to test more pigment products and maybe get creative with our own combinations. We also look forward to working more with the herbicide amicarbazone and its possibilities to control Poa annua
